The Open Society Georgia Foundation hosts a multiday working meeting dedicated to the issue of accessible and usable buildings and facilities for persons with disabilities.
The meeting is attended by persons with disabilities, construction experts, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Ministry of Infrastructure and the Parliament.
The objective of the meeting is to update the Decree N41 of January 28, 2016 of the Government of Georgia on Safety Rules for Buildings, with the view of making building infrastructure compliant to the needs of persons with disabilities.
