Promoting the Development of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

26 Nov, 2018

A working meeting on promoting the development of the child and adolescent mental health services was held on November 26 with the support of Open Society Foundation.

Important tendencies and problems were revealed at the meeting following the presentations on child and adolescent mental health services. The participants also discussed various solutions.

The major child mental health problems are related to granting a mental health status. Moreover, it is essential to develop, adapt and manage an age-appropriate national assessment instrument. The cases of drug-induced psychosis have become too frequent that requires the development of reaction mechanism by joint efforts.

Psychiatrists, foreign experts, representatives of the Ministries of Health and Education participated in the meeting.
